Bahareh Hedayat is a member of in 1979 established Iranian student organization " Office for the Consolidation of Unity "(Tahkim Vahdat). She was arrested last December for the fifth time and is sentenced to 9.5 years in prison. This is the longest against a member of the Association of imprisonment imposed since its inception. Since her arrest, she was more time in solitary confinement moved and interrogated while being subjected to strong pressure.
Bahareh Hedayat, on the occasion of Iran's student day, on 7 December (16 Azar) is committed, wrote the following letter:
Since our last farewell, and our passionate battle cry for overcoming the darkness does not last much time. Great strides we wanted to reach the shores of light and love. We thought that our sufferings and our suffering would finally put an end to, and that it would not be long, would be until the freedom for our people in range.
In our hearts together, we concluded with us, and although we were at a disadvantage in this unfair fight, we fought with bare hands against tyranny. Not just on the streets, but in our hearts we wanted to stay calm and collected. However, given the ferocity with which we were faced increased our suffering. flourish until the day on which flowers everywhere and the breeze blows of knowledge from every town and village, should be our universities, in our imagination colorful, fragrant flower-places, not prison cells.
In our dreams there is no barbed wire and no iron gates that guard us access to our schools. There are no private notes to cast students from the university, and the shadow of fear has been lifted away in our dreams of our universities. The professors is not forbidden to teach, and our students are no longer satisfied of regret summoned for questioning.
My fellow students, we are exhausted, but we are not broken. We will continue to stand up, albeit with wounded and restless hearts. We are witnessing attempts by dictators to loot a fertile land that is nourished by the selfless sacrifices of past and present generations.
The injustice imposed on the universities of our Fatherland Iran and his children is, the last attempt of the human heart's dark, can not sleep because the youth of Iran has a vision to liberate our people. I hope that our dreams are beautiful no one's nightmare. But we are dealing with people who have nothing to give as falsehoods about himself and those who want to raise our own betrayal and revenge against our own today. Be warned, if you ingest it with this evil, listen to your conscience and remain true. Otherwise, you will open your hearts to hate and you choose the path of darkness.
My patient brother, my brave sisters: The winter brings us one more time the month of Azar (December), a month in which the heart of darkness, we can strike a blow, a month, which will always belong to us. The cold stone walls of Evin prison, with its endless days and nights trying in vain to a distance between you and me to build, but I still remember all those student days [Iranian Student's Day on 7 December, translator's] that we have spent in our desire for a green, bright and sunny future together.
Although they have built a wall between us, I am still with my fellow students, and we sing side by side, hand in hand, the old Songs stretch and our fists to the sky, calling out to the world that exists between us, love can be affected by any obstacle in the world. Sadness and loneliness have no place in my heart, because our empathy for one another without prejudice.
These eternal, sad and cold days and nights will be at some point over forever, and the hopeful promise of life will embrace us. I have not the slightest doubt that we breathe free in our bright future a free country and celebrate our freedom to be together. We will stretch our hands towards the blue sky and in our universities, our entire country, which finally, finally be free, will again welcome the sun. This day is near, and so let's any doubt that gnaws at us to discard. We must believe in it and rise as before, well informed and full of hope.
I'm coming, coming, coming
With my locks, flowing scented soil of underground
With my eyes, enduring the depth of darkness
With the heath, harvested beyond
... I'm coming, coming, coming
To fill the surroundings with love And to those who desire
To the girl still standing at the brink, full of love, I want to say hello again
...
